    Family Counseling

    Family Resonate like musical instruments and the relationships resonate like chords between each relationship. And like instruments it can be easy to get out of tune and difficult to find harmony again.

    It’s different for each family, for each dyad within a family. And it changes as the family changes.

    The Inner Allies Yoga Therapy

    Inner Allies Yoga is a powerful yet gentle yoga practice that can be modified for any body.

    It invites our inner allies, who can also be called spirit animals or invisible helpers or many other names, to join us in movement and sensation, as we work through intention, goals, emotions.

    Through movements, breath, visualization, music, our own imaginations we will tune into our inner wisdom .

I Graduated from Naropa with my Master's in Contemplative Psychotherapy in 2013 and in 2003 with my Bachelor’s in Writing and Literature from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics. I had a minor in yoga, and I have my 200 YTT yoga teacher training certification, as well as certifcations in DBT and Motivational Interviewing.

My given name is Elaan but I get elanvital from a term coined by Henri Bergson, A French philosopher living circa 1900, in his book Creative Evolution. Described as the elusive intuitive spirit that drives evolutionary change; the impulse to live free from constraints; the act of becoming fully conscious of reality; and the electric current of life. It is the last stage of evolution, beyond the physical, the evolved inner consciousness.

I live in a multi generational household with my mom, my adult child, and their partner. We will always have dogs and cats.

I am a yogi, a dancer, and a nature lover. I love science fictionand magial realism. I love any movie or series where the story can be told in song.
